Martha Stewart – Kitchen Organization – Utensil Storage
Here’s what I used to recreate the look with utensil crocks from World Market & Anthropologie with a few others thrown in. Enjoy! The matte is a nice contrast to the shine of the ceramic vessels below.
In person, the opening is a bit smaller than expected but overall it’s good storage. Feels like it’s the right height for most utensils so you can easily grab what you need. And then there’s these two little gems from Anthropologie here that just complete the look perfectly. Now I want to buy pastry brushes and some other small utensils that I’ll never use just so I can stick them in the creamer jar.
Marquesas Kitchen Collection – Anthro
Lotus Creamer – Anthro
And then just to get you started on some awesome utensils to put in your new crock … these are absolutely the cutest and nicest utensils I’ve seen in awhile. I have the spoon/scraper and I’ll be putting the rest on my Christmas list I’ve been very good this year Santa, I promise!
Teakwood Utensil Set – Anthro
Oh wait, let’s not forget about the tray that ties the hold thing together at the bottom, I picked up mine at the container store, but really, you can use just whatever you have in the house and I’m sure you can pull this look together using your own style and stuff. I just love having a everything in it’s place and a place for everything – it brings harmony to my heart! Found an awesome piece you’d like to share? The tell us about in the comments below!
There’s a new Birth Announcement and Thank You Card in the shop. You can as always change the colors and add photos. You can buy the announcement in the shop here, or the thank you note here. The elements of this design were made with some clip art you can also purchase in the shop here. It’s pretty cute if I say so myself. As always, please share, comment and like, etc. It means a lot to me!!
It’s the time again for the crazy, not enough time in the world to fight the crowds Back to School shop-a-thon. And I shop on Amazon … a lot. Here’s some of the neat stuff I’ve found for my little kindergartner. I just got the backpack in today and it’s got an adorable black polka dot fabric on the inside as well and an inside pocket that’s not pictured. Love. I can’t wait to get all the little bento boxes and the lunch bag to start planning out meals. Almost makes me wish I could tag along with her to see her unpack her bag on the first day.
Fa la la la la – The Holidays are coming!!! Are you ready?! This Simple Pink Girl’s Bike is Miss L’s big gift from Santa this year. I wanted to get her something that she’d like but also something she wouldn’t outgrow in a year when she decides she doesn’t like Dora (and promptly requests a new bike.) The accessories are all stuff I had on my bike as a kid and just looking at the pictures brings back memories, especially the sound the spoke beads made, right? I can’t wait to hear what Miss L will remember about her bike when she’s grown. I can already see her sparkly & pink pony collection stuffed in the basket, along for the ride. What is Santa bringing you little ones this year? (I went to Target yesterday and they already had Christmas stuff up so I figure you can’t get that mad at me for posting about present ideas )
FRESHNESS! Check out this new Sprinkles Invite from Icing on the Paper. I think it would go great with a sprinkles, gumballs or confetti theme. Be sure to check out all the links below if you’re wondering you can find these items (most of which are available on Amazon – yes, please!). Cheers & Happy Party Planning!
